Introduction to LED Light

The pace with which LED lighting is moving is amazing. Although LED bulbs have been available for many years, technology has advanced and the luminous efficiency has now become amazing. Strong, durable bulbs do not contain mercury filaments and no, there is no chance of breaking, breakage, contamination.
With a superb design life up to 50,000 hours and reduce energy costs up to 90%, LED bulbs have already proved they are the future of lighting. LEDs provide robust, durable and energy efficient solutions massively compared to other lighting currently available.

It is now possible to compare the performance of LEDs to that of halogen bulbs and as such LEDs will soon become the preferred option for all light bulbs. They have been in use for other lighting applications including vehicle lights for some time, but failed to break into the general lighting for residential and commercial. That is until now, with the advent of high power LED bulbs.

High voltage LED bulbs have opened the door to extremely low energy consumption, without compromising the quality of light output on high, and it is more a life incredible, showing that LED lighting will become crisis and forget solution, with huge reductions in energy and maintenance costs. Undoubtedly the future of lighting is LED bulbs. High power models are now replacing halogen bulbs as replacements, and as it has never really been a better time to pass these excellent bulbs, especially now that the LEDs have become standard replacement products for existing lamps, bulbs and tubes.

Thanks to the amazing efficiency of the new high-power LED, and the fact that they can act as a direct replacement for standard incandescent bulbs, LED bulbs will soon be used in almost any lighting, which will ensure that we are more dependent wasteful lighting.

Lighting accounts for a significant amount of average electricity bill and therefore it also has a significant impact on the carbon footprint of a home or business. With the increased efficiency associated with LED lighting, it looks like an excellent opportunity to substantially reduce carbon emissions and help the environment. The Energy Saving Trust indicates that if everyone in the UK has changed their LED lights where possible, we would be able to save enough energy to light 5 million homes!

LED will soon overtake low energy CFL lighting that choice because of their efficiency, improved quality of light output, lifetime and reduced carbon emissions.
